Garbage Disposer Air Switch Kit 

Professional grade, heavy duty garbage disposer air switch kits have become very popular in high end kitchens. These are very convenient and safe since the push button can be mounted close to your sink and you don't have to walk across the room to turn on your disposer. Most electrical codes require wall switches and receptacles to be at least an arms length away from the sink.  This air switch kit isolates the electricity from the user by sending a burst of air down thru the vinyl tubing to the actual switch under your cabinet when the button is pushed. Works with all garbage disposers up to 15 amps. A 120 volt GFCI receptacle must be located within 3 feet of the disposer, under your cabinet,  to supply power to the switch box, which simply plugs in.  Your disposer power cord will plug in to the switch box.
A 1 3/8" hole must be drilled in your counter top to accomodate the push button. For countertops up to 1.5" thick.  Many disposers do not come equipped with a power cord, we have kits below that include a power cord.
